Dear Parents/Guardians of my 2009-2010 Students,
I would like to extend my warmest welcome into our classroom for the 2009-2010 school year. This will be my 17th year in teaching!! My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and learns in a different way. I love to take the "hands on"/"creative approach" to education. I really look forward to a year full of learning, discovery, and friendship!
**Here is a list of the supplies your child will need for the year!
*1-2 bottles of Elmers Glue & 4 packs of glue sticks/*1 pair of scissors/*4 packs of American Made Pencils/*1-2 packs of erasers*1 box of crayons/*2 sturdy folders/*1 Binder Pouch (please do not get a plastic or small pouch) *1 supply box/*1 pack of Dry-Erase Markers/*1 spiral notebook/*1 pack of Play-Doh ( Please do not get off brands!) *2 boxes of Kleenex/*2 containers of hand wipes(baby wipes or clorox wipes are fine)/* 1 bottle of hand sanitizer/* 1 basic calculator/*1 Hi-lighter marker/* 1 roll of scotch tape/*1 black Sharpie Marker/*1 baggie containing 4 quarters, 10 dimes, 10 nickels, 10 pennies/* Girls please bring in 1 pack of brown or white lunch bags, or 1 box ( any size) of sandwich bags/* Boys please bring in 1 pack of paper plates( any size), or 1 roll of aluminum foil. /Markers and colored pencils are fine to send in also./***Any donations of craft items is greatly appreciated!!( a roll of magnets, wiggle eyes, pom-poms, stickers, beads, pipe cleaners, seasonal foamies etc.

Please label all of your childs supplies. I will collect everything and they should last the school year!
**We will be having "Meet the Teacher Night" on August 27th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Elementary. I look forward to meeting everyone that evening. I will have an information packet for you. Please bring your school supplies with you in a box or bag if you can.
**If you are able to make it to "Meet the Teacher Night", Please bring a favorite family photo to make a magnetic locker decoration with your child.
