I began teaching kindergarten at James a. Garfield Elementary

in 2006. I attained my Bachelor's Degree from Mount Union 

College in 2005 and more recently have earned my Master's 

Degree from Kent State University in 2008. I love teaching in this

community because I have the opportunity to to form a relationship

with the students as well as their families. It takes a partnership 

between the teacher and the parents in order for your child to have a 

successful kindergarten year! I encourage the parents to be as 

involved as possible in the classroom. I always welcome parent 

volunteers and we will have many special activities throughout the 

year that parents will be invited to attend.
