Welcome to first grade!! I am excited about working with your child. I
have been teaching in the Garfield school system over twenty years in
both kindergarten and first grade. I graduated from Kent State
University with both my undergraduate and masters degrees in
Elementary and Early Childhood Education.
I would like to introduce my student teacher for the fall semester.
Miss Emily Bihari will begin on September 1, 2009. She is a student at
Hiram College. Come and meet her at Meet the Teacher Night on
Thursday, August 27th at 5:30 to 6:30.

3:18 Dismissal Begins
The children are responsible for their homework/communication folder daily. It includes a behavior chart to be signed and returned daily, important notes and homework. Your child will have homework usually four times a week. A weekly letter will be sent home on Fridays to give parents information about what we are doing in our classroom. I am excited and eager to work with your child.
