I have been teaching in the Garfield School System for 33 years. I spent my first 25 years in first grade and the next 5 years in second grade. I taught first grade 3 years ago, and am happy to be back in second grade. I really do love my job! Every year brings new faces and new challenges!
I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, and have attended numerous Universties for Graduate work. Among those are Kent State University, Ashland University, Fresno State University and Youngstown State University.
In my spare time, I love to read, work in the yard and cook. In the summer, I enjoy boating and golfing.
