This is my seventh year of teaching here at James A. Garfield Elementary. In December of 2005 I earned my Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove University. I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Kent State University in 1999 and earlier received an Associate Degree in Outdoor Recreation and Wildlife Management from Hocking College. My wife and I have resided here in the Garrettsville area for the past fifteen years and take pleasure in being part of this wonderful community.
This will be a year of critical growth and learning for your child. With your help, I hope to make this experience both enjoyable and meaningful. I strive to instill in all my students a strong belief in their abilities to achieve their full potential. I believe that learning can and should be a fun and rewarding life long experience.
