General Biology This course uses a lab/activity approach to cover all aspects of living things including a study of cells, plant and animal functions and structures, and dead and living organisms. This course also focuses on the understanding of genetics and evolution principles. One class is presented in an inclusion system. Recommended for the general education curriculum. Students cannot take both General Biology I and Biology I. Both of these courses cover the Life Science objectives required by the Ohio Department of Education.

Students cannot take both Biology I and General Biology I. Both of these courses cover the Life Science objectives required by the Ohio Department of Education. Biology I is required for Biology II and AP Biology.
