Welcome to Garfield
Middle School
The Mission of the James A. Garfield Middle School is to foster a positive learning environment that provides an academic bridge to prepare the middle level child for the unique challenges of the future and sets the foundation for life-long learning.
The Garfield Middle School teachers and staff dedicate themselves everyday to the successful learning of every middle school student. Through hard work and dedication we try to make each day a journey that is rewarding and insightful! Our students learn in the classroom, through hands on projects, and by helping the community.
Parents have the opportunity to become involved in middle school life by joining the Middle School Volunteer Parents (MVPs). This organization helps recognize students and supports teachers in academic areas. Please call the school for contact information.
