Email: meghanbrandes@jagschools.org Mrs. Brandes loves young children and has spent the last 21 years teaching special education in a variety of settings. She completed her undergraduate work in Special Education at Miami University and received her Master’s Degree from Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Prior to teaching in the integrated preschool classroom setting, Mrs. Brandes taught for 10 years at the kindergarten level working with students who needed support learning early literacy skills. She holds an Education of the Handicapped (K-12) certification and an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (P-3) license in Ohio, and she was nominated for Massachusetts Teacher of the Year Award in 2001. Teaching preschool has been a long-held dream, and she strives to make a difference in each of her students’ lives. SCREENINGS Preschool screenings are generally held twice a year, once in the Fall and again in the Spring. Appointments can be made by calling the Special Services Office at 330.527.5524.
