Tasker, Bartlett-Habeger notch hat tricks as Lady G-Men overwhelm Red Raiders
The Lady G-Men turned in a commanding performance Tuesday night, blanking the Painesville Harvey Red Raiders 11–0 at JAG Stadium.
Senior midfielder Taylor Wade put Garfield on the board just two minutes into the match. Senior forward Kaelyn Tasker added her first of three goals only moments later, and by the 17th minute Garfield led 5–0 behind a pair of goals each from Tasker and senior midfielder Kellyn Bartlett-Habeger.
Junior sweeper Hannah Timmons scored in the 24th minute before Tasker completed her hat trick three minutes later, giving Garfield a 7–0 halftime lead.
Harvey pushed early in the second half, but Garfield goalkeeper Olivia Zicari turned away the Red Raiders’ best chance. Bartlett-Habeger answered with two more goals in the 52nd and 54th minutes to secure a hat trick of her own.
Senior forward Sophia Dahlen and senior defender Riley Grace closed the scoring with late goals as Garfield cruised to the 11–0 final.
The victory bell tolled over JAG Stadium as the Lady G-Men celebrated their dominant performance.
