What a season for our James A. Garfield 7th Grade Volleyball Team! The Lady G-Men capped off their incredible run with an MVAC League Championship victory, going undefeated in league play and never losing a single set all season — a truly dominant performance!
The championship match against Southeast was nothing short of electric. Playing on their home court in front of a packed middle school student section, the team delivered a thrilling performance filled with energy, focus, and heart. Every serve, spike, and save reflected their hard work and unity throughout the season.
A huge congratulations to the players and Coach Shirkey for exemplifying the district core values of perseverance and teamwork. Your dedication and spirit made the entire Garfield community proud.
We look forward to watching this team shine next season when the girls will ultimately face their toughest challenge yet — the Lab Rats!
