Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce our next group of recipients for the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School! Through the G-Men of the Month Program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:
Luci (8): Staff members had mentioned that Luci always has a smile on her face and doesn't seem to let things get her down. They had also said that she is a pleasure to have in class by always participating in discussions and by turning in all her projects on time.
Other 8th Grade Nominees for the month included: Izaiah Bonzanto, Matthias Dahlen, Owen Fleck, Jedi Flanagan, and Chloe Wymer.
Lillian (7): Staff members had mentioned that Lillian is a wonderful student, a great human being, and that she consistently demonstrates all of our JAG Core Values. They had also said that she is a role model for our other 7th grade students and deserves to be recognized for always doing the right things.
Other 7th Grade Nominees for the month included: Leni Macek, Andrew West, Kaitlyn Knerem, Acie Korosec, and Violet Reeder.
Mr. Gilbert (Staff): Students have said that Mr. Gilbert is really funny, chill, and makes social studies way more enjoyable than it has been in the past. They had also said that he does not overload them with work, gives them extensions if needed, and does a good job keeping the class fun and not boring.
Other Staff Nominees for the month included: Mrs. Cozad, Mrs. Giammo, and Mr. Paes.

The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school. It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.
Let's take a moment to congratulate Luci, Lillian, and Mr. Gilbert for their well-deserved recognition as this month's G-Men of the Month! These individuals' achievements inspire us all, and we are proud to have you as part of our school community. It's a great time to be a G-Man!
Go G-Men!
